K'Daanso is a songwriter, performer and singer.
He blends Reggae/Dancehall from Jamaica with
Highlife/Afrobeat/Afropop music from Ghana, and calls this fusion RAGGLYF music.
His messages are based on Upliftment, Justice and Love.
Growing up in Ghana and experiencing the effects of (neo)Colonialism has greatly influenced the kind of topics he writes and sings about.
For the past 10years, he has been on this music journey and hopes to share his experience with the rest of the world in the coming years.
Culture, Equal rights and justice, Freedom and Economic liberation are some of his values.
He sings in different languages (English, Pidgin, Twi, Patoa and German) and has shared stages with most of the renowned artistes in Ghana (Stonebwoy, Samini, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie).
In 2016, he formed the RaggLyf Family (an Afro-
Reggae band) in Germany and they have played on many festivals and concerts (Herzblick Festival, Afro-Deutsches Open Air Festival, Mainusch Bleibt Festival, Johannisfest, Mainz Campusfest), sharing stages with artistes like Egotronic, RaggaBund, Mellow Mark, Roger Rekless and many more.
His energy, music content and interaction on stage qualifies him as one of the exciting new performers in Africa who can really trill any class of audience. He has 3 Mixtapes and 2 Eps to his credit.
